Dr. John Sperling graduated from the University of Virginia School of Medicine.  He completed his residency at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota and a Fellowship for Sports Medicine and Shoulder Surgery at The Hospital for Special Surgery.  Doctor Sperling’s practice focuses on the treatment of shoulder pathology.  In addition, he has completed an MBA in medical group management.  He currently is on Staff at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.

Dr Sperling is a committee member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the International Congress for Joint Reconstruction and is on the Board of Directors for the International Society of Orthopaedic Centres (ISOC).
