The Australian Hand Surgery Society and its members are looking forward to welcoming the members of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand to Sydney in March 2016, to renewing old friendships and establishing new ones. Building on the camaraderie of the Hawaii meeting in 2012. The meeting promises to challenge the current thinking in Hand surgery through a series of symposia, free paper sessions, entertaining debates and lively sporting discussions. The Convenors Tony Beard and Fraser Leversedge are busy coercing many of the stars of both societies into preparing educational and amusing contributions. The modern, chic venue is located in the centre of the Sydney, near the Harbour and adjacent to Hyde Park.  

The 2016 Meeting is a special event combining expertise from both societies. It is an open meeting welcoming all AHSS and ASSH members and their guests along with surgeons from around the world. Trainees, Registrars and Therapist are all encouraged to attend.
