Dr Anish Kadakia is a fellowship-trained Foot and Ankle
Orthopaedic Surgeon who currently is Chief of Foot and
Ankle at the University of Michigan. Dr Kadakia completed
his undergraduate degree from Northwestern University
with Distinction and received his medical degree from
Northwestern University Medical School. After completion of
orthopaedic residency at Northwestern Memorial Hospital,
he undertook fellowship training with Dr Mark Myerson in
Baltimore, Maryland. His research interests include ankle
arthroplasty, syndesmotic injuries, posterior pilon injuries,
and spring ligament reconstruction.
Dr Kadakia has authored
numerous publications and book chapters and most recently
has been invited to be section editor for the foot and ankle
section of Mercer's Orthopaedics and guest editor for Foot
and Ankle Clinics of North America. He is currently an Assistant
Professor at the University of Michigan where he is involved in
clinical care and the education of orthopaedic residents.
