Welcome

PNAQ logo

The Perioperative Nurses Association of Queensland (PNAQ) conference 2008 is here and our theme this year of The Magical World of Peri operative Nursing conjures up many possibilities and imaginings. The conference team (Debra Pearce and Kerrie Chandler) and I have arranged speakers that are covering topics from an Operating Theatre in a bus to Pain Management in Recovery.

This is your time to take a break from the rigors of your work life to enjoy the company of other Perioperative Nurses and our Industry Partners on the Glorious Sunshine Coast. Time to network, socialise, shop (just a little) and discuss your daily issues with others who know just what YOU are going through.

Friday night once again is our casual dinner where anything can happen and usually does! 'Some Enchanted Evening' will be the Grand Finale of the Conference on Saturday night - with the dress code being semi formal to magically inspire. Our PNAQ Awards and the Jackie Taylor Bursary will be announced at this function.
