Seeking Education
The academic program will be stimulating with scientific presentations, panel sessions, groups and case based interactive discussions and hands on workshops. Presentation topics will include latest advances in arthroscopic, minimally invasive, reconstructive and arthroplasty surgery from the shoulder to the hand. The panel and group discussions will cover the latest controversies in trauma, reconstructive and arthroplasty surgery. Workshops will be hands on practical sessions, directed by experts in the use of the latest trauma, arthroscopy and arthroplasty products. In addition there will be discussion group sessions dedicated to issues relevant to office management, reconstructive plastic surgery, rehabilitation and physiotherapy. Abstracts of less than 400 words should be submitted for the free papers.
Instructions to Authors Concerning Submission Methods
(ABSTRACTS WILL ONLY BE ACCEPTED ELECTRONICALLY)
Please ensure you adhere strictly to the abstract formatting guidelines. These guidelines must be followed in order for your abstract to proceed for review.
- Click on "Submit Abstract" button in the abstract submission panel to the right and follow the prompts
- It is essential all photographs and diagrams are embedded within the document, prior to uploading the abstract
- On submission, you will be issued a unique abstract access key which will allow you to view and edit your abstract/s after submission until 1700 Tuesday 15 March 2011.

Layout
- Abstracts must be written within a 160 mm x 245 mm rectangular space on an A4 page (210 mm x 297 mm)
- Portrait orientation
- Margins are all to be 20mm
- Text should be single spaced
- Font should be Arial typeface and 12 point character size
Title and Author
At the beginning of the abstract please include within the rectangular space described previously and each on a new line:
- The title (upper case)
- The name(s) of the author(s) – please omit university degrees and titles
- The name of the presenter to be underlined
- Affiliation(s), city and country – please omit street address and postcode
- Leave two lines before commencing the body of the text
Section Headings & Paragraphs
- The title of each section is to be in uppercase bold and left justified
- Leave a 6-space indentation at the beginning of each new paragraph. Leave a 1 line space between each paragraph
- Graphs, tables and references may be used throughout the abstract but must remain within the defined one-page limit

To register delegates issued with a unique access key enter the details into 'Delegate Login'. Delegates without a unique access key click on 'Register Securely Online'. At this step select 'Submit your abstract' if submitting an abstract.
Upon completion of the abstract submission process you will be automatically supplied with a summary and confirmation of your registration. The abstract submission website is accessible until Friday 28 January 2011.
