Registration Desk

The registration desk will be situated in the Reef View Loung, Reef View Hotel on Wednesday 3 November from 1400. If you are staying at the Reef View Hotel, you will be able to check in to your room at the same time. From Thursday 4 - Sunday 7 November the registration desk will be located next to the Endeavour room at the Resort Centre.

Climate/Dress

Hamilton Island has a year round warm tropical climate. November is generally a warm month with tempreatures ranging from 23°C - 31°C. Hamilton's tropical climate means the days are warm and the atmosphere is very relaxed. A light jacket or sweater may be required for evenings. Suggested meeting dress is relaxed resort attire. Please be aware between November and May the Whitsundays experience an increase prescence of the small transparent jellyfish - Irukandji. With this in mind, please avoid swimming on secluded beaches and always swim in the presence of others. For your safety we recommend swimming in the range of pools proided throughout the island.

Conference Registration Cancellation & Refund Policy

A cancellation fee of $200.00 applies for cancellations prior Tuesday, 27 July.

No refunds applicable for cancellations after Tuesday, 27 July.

Insurance

Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. Neither ASCTS nor Taylored Images will accept liability for damages of any nature sustained by participants, or loss or damage to their personal property. It is recommended that you take out a suitable travel insurance policy when you register for the meeting and book your travel.
